I've been doing hair professionally for over eight years, starting out cutting hair for friends and family in my living room before working my way up through two different local salons. Along the way, I realized what I really wanted wasn't just to work in someone else's chair, it was to build a space of my own. Somewhere clients feel genuinely welcomed the moment they walk in, and where I can finally invest in the equipment, products, and training I've always wanted to offer but could never justify as an employee. This funding would help me take that leap and turn eight years of learning into something that's truly mine.
Bella's Hair Studio is a full-service hair salon focused on cuts, color, and styling for everyday clients who want quality care without the intimidating, overpriced feel of high-end salons. After years of working in other people's salons, I'm opening my own space in a walkable neighborhood strip, close to the community I already serve. The studio will offer haircuts, coloring, balayage, blowouts, and styling for special occasions, along with a small retail corner for professional hair care products. What sets this apart is genuine relationship-based service: appointments that aren't rushed, honest recommendations instead of upselling, and a space designed to feel more like a friend's living room than a corporate chain. The funding will go directly toward equipment, initial buildout, and the first few months of rent, giving the business enough runway to build a steady client base before it needs to be fully self-sustaining.
